David and Gary both served an LDS mission in Russian - so we started the fun off at the Russian Bear restaurant! It was very delicious and great to be all together! We had borshch, kremlin, kotlets, cabbage rolls and blini (crepes) - yum yum! We took up the whole restaurant and it was very fun!
After dinner Dave and Penny and the Orton's headed to Ice World to go ice skating. We and the Lewis crew were going to go swimming - but it rained just enough to close the Meridian pool. So we went to the park and played and then to Kelly's to play around. My favorite was when Grandpa Lewis and John were playing baseball together! John was facing Dad straight on with the bat and we were trying to help him turn sideways to hit the ball and John kept saying "that it wasn't going to work that way" and when he would turn sideways for us but miss hitting the ball with the bat and he would just say "See - it doesn't work that way" :-)

Jeff and I are going to have to give this place a try. Jeff served in Bulgaria which is slavic so he would probably enjoy it. I appreciate their link for more information.
