While Grandma Lewis was here we had a great time playing! Grandma watched the children while I went to all the follow up doctor appointments with Peter and Brent. She took them to the park, on walks, read stories, made dinner - Thanks so much Mom, I don't know what we would have done without you! The kids were pretty lonely after you left!
We had a great FHE with Kelly and Shara and dyed Easter Eggs and talked about the Atonement and the Resurrection on Monday. It was special to share our testimonies of the Savior.
On Tuesday we all headed to Settler's Park in Meridian - It was so fun! We had a great time playing as a family!
On Wednesday we took Mom to the Airport :-( , and then went home and slept all afternoon to recoup from all the fun!
Friday night, Rachel Cheney put together a fun girls night to get together with the young mom's from our ward and neighborhood - Complete with cake waffles and ice cream - Yum yum! I really loved the chance to talk with other women and show Peter off. Thank you so much to all my good friends that came or stopped by - your friendship means so much to me. It was a real pick me up (I was starting to feel those baby blues). It was really nice to talk together and eat good food and have Brent take the kids for a Daddy kids adventure. He taught them how to play soccer at the park and then took them out for ice cream and treats at Shoey's. They loved the adventure! Dad is great! It was a fun week!
