A Busy Novemeber!

It has been a fun and busy month! Here is Jane all decked out in Vandal gear, Paul with his crayon gun (How do boys know about making guns at 2!), John eating Capt'n Crunch in Water (yum, yum), Peter laughing sweetly and our crew getting the tree up!

In earlier November we went up to see Jeff in "The Music Man" - He did such a great job! We also had some fun nights with David's crew and the Brown's. For Thanksgiving, we were at the Lewis', including a fun night where Dad, Chris, Ben and Brent put on a fun pie-eating contest for all of us! (Check out the video!)

We also had a fun 4-wheeling adventure out by Thiokol with Grandma and Grandpa Lewis and Aunt Sandy, and saw the rockets (Which the boys just loved!). Then we headed up to the Orton's and helped decorate for Christmas, fed the ducks at the Nature Park, and tried elk hunting again. (No luck this year either - we are going to buy a cow!) We had a lot of fun trying though - it is always beautiful to drive in the mountains and enjoy the beautiful country, and to spend time together.

We did have one scary moment when Brent stopped on a hill and forgot to put the car in park. He jumped out to take a look around. When we turned off the engine to save gas, the car rolled backwards. The children were all screaming as we rolled backwards on the hill and I tried to get to the brake. Brent ran between the car and the trailer to get to the wheel. The trailer spanked him as he jumped through and ended up getting quite bruise, but thankfully not pinned as the car and the trailer jack knifed. It was quite an exciting moment! Our car got a little dented, but we felt so blessed that no one had been hurt badly! The Lord is always watching out for us!

Here are some photos from the fun! (Also a video of Jane's letter to Santa! :))

I've always wondered about the boys and guns thing too. I swear they are born knowing all the boy things.
